Ox In A Box Article

In the run up to VE Day and as part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, Ox In A Box wrote an article about the work we have done so far as a dance company, sharing the stories of those affected by combat PTSD. Our first film we shared was Day to Day I Am Fighting To stay Alive and the second Through Her Eyes.

Our logo was designed to represent the UK military forces, The Royal Air Force, The Army and The Royal Navy.

To create the logo our graphic designer created 3 dance poses and using the colours of each uniform, created a camouflage pattern. If you look closely you will notice the camouflage is made up of smaller dancers.

We wanted to create a design that would appeal to both men and women and that was not to dance heavy. As we are a dance and mixed media company, we want to appeal to various artists and audiences. It is hoped that in 2021 we will replicate his logo but in a new colour pallet, so that we can separate put more clearly, projects that are military focused and those that are not.
